Chicken Lollipop Recipe
Chicken lollipops are a popular snack and street food across India. For the most part, they are made using a fusion of Indian and Chinese flavours, so you need both garam masala and soy sauce on hand!
They work well as appetisers to a meal or as a quick bite.

Ingredients
For marinating
- 4 tbsp yogurt
- 1 1/4 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 4 tbsp corn flour
For seasoning
- 1 medium onion
- 3/4 tbsp Ginger
- 3/4 tbsp garlic
- 1 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup Water

Instructions
- Combine the yogurt with a cup of water and whisk it well.
- Soak the chicken in this mixture overnight.
- Mix all the other ingredients for marinating together.
- Drain the chicken and marinade it in this combination.
- Allow the chicken to sit for an hour.
- Place the drumsticks in hot oil until they cook.
For the seasoning
- Sauté the ginger and garlic in half a tablespoon of oil.
- Add the onions and fry until aromatic.
- Add the vinegar, soy sauce and chili powder.
- Add the sugar and stir well.
- Add a few tablespoons of water and allow the seasoning to thicken.
- Add the cooked drumsticks and sauté briefly until they are coated in the seasoning.
- Take the drumsticks out of the pan and serve!
