Ex-Footballer Marshawn Lynch Launches New Line Of Chocolates

Retired American football player Marshawn Lynch is stepping foot into the candies and confectionaries business with a new range of chocolates. The range of candies is christened after Lynch’s own nickname on the field, ‘Beast Mode’.

The chocolate bar, which is set to be launched this week, will come in three flavours: Chocolate Mint Kookie N’ Milk, Chocolate P-Nut Butter Pretzel, and Chocolate S’mores Bar ‘N Milk. *Drools*

Lynch’s range of chocolates have been created in partnership with It’sugar, a chain of candy stores that sells five-pound gummi bears and Donald Trump lollipops, among other things.

People who have closely followed Lynch on the field and the bleachers would know that candies and the Buffalo Bulls and Seattle Seahawk player go back a long way. The Skittle-loving athlete was often spotted munching some off the field. Of course, that was also partly because the footballer had officially signed an endorsement deal with the Skittles. Potato, patato.

The Seahawk was recently seen promoting his line of chocolates on Conan. And he pulled off a total Willy Wonka while on the show. One lucky person seated in the audience got a Beast Mode candy bar under their seat. The bar carried a “golden ticket,” which is redeemable for a trip to the California chocolate factory where the bars are made. See what we mean?
