Fly High With Organic French Wines At Sevilla, The Claridges, Delhi

Sevilla is a name that often comes in conversation about great food in Delhi, fine dining, where to find great wine in Delhi, and the likes. Keeping its fine wine and dine game up to the mark, the restaurant has teamed up with wineries from across France to introduce four organic wines to their menu.

Exclusively available at Sevilla, the new range of French wines have been sourced from small family-owned estates with reputable ties to the hotel, these wines have been sustainably produced and sensibly cherry-picked. The wineries are nestled in the wine making region of the Loire Valley along the French Riviera where the art of creating the spirit is nothing less than a way of life and an outcome of deep passion handed down from generation to generation.

Wine enthusiast would be aware that the Loire Valley’s wine making aesthetics are deep-rooted and can be traced back to as early as the 1^st century! In fact, archaeological evidence suggests that the Romans planted the first vineyards in the Loire Valley. Moreover, wines from this region are a bit fruitier with the added goodness of fresh, crisp flavours, especially in their youth. Languedoc is a significant producer of wine. producing more than a third of the grapes in France.

Speaking on the association, Winemaker Xavier Ledogar says, “Our wines are meant to be shared – they are for friends and long winded conversations. We hope you take as much joy in drinking them as we do in making them.”
