Allset Restaurant App Raises $1.5M In Funding

Allset is the new app for all “busy lunchtime eaters” looking to eat out at restaurants in their city. Available as both an iOS and Android app, Allset announced the app’s official launch, alongside a $1.5 million round of funding. 

Allset allows you to order lunch from your favourite restaurants through the app, and has your table and meal ready and served on your time. It also allows you to pay seamlessly by handling payments so you can leave the restaurant whenever you want. The company said it “successfully tested its app at twelve restaurants in San Francisco and Palo Alto, and now any restaurant in the US can make use of the app to allow lunchtime diners to book a table, pre-order their food, and pre-pay the bill.” If a person uses Allset, it is guaranteed that it can “save them around 40 minutes of the time that is usually spent eating out and waiting during the lunch rush,” the company said.

On the other hand, restaurants can increase their table turnover by avoiding long delays that involve food preparation and payment of bills. Every time a reservation and order is made using the Allset app, a flat rate of $1 is charged to the diner and $1 to the restaurant.
