Amul Dairy Opens Restaurant And Mall In Gujarat
National dairy brand, Amul Dairy has opened a restaurant and mall in Anand, Gujarat – the Amul headquarters.

The mall and the restaurant, which are named ‘Amul Green’ and ‘Amul Foodland’ respectively are in a 5,800 square foot area, which Amul previously rented to a restaurant.
According to Amul’s plans, Amul Green will use a modern retail format to sell over 6,500 food and personal care items. Amul has begun buying spices, grains, pulses, oils, nuts and sugar from wholesale markets, following which they will be cleaned, processed and packaged under the Amul Green brand.
Meanwhile, the brand’s milk parlor and chocolate and sweets outlet in the area is already getting 5000 footfalls a day; Amul Dairy’s managing director Dr K Rathnam has stated that the brand expects as Rs.8 lakh turnover per day from the new ventures.
“We have provided Amul Dairy all the support in terms of branding,” said R S Sodhi, managing director of the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) to the Economic Times. The GCMMF markets the Amul brand.
