Armenian Illustrator Combines Food and Fashion to Create Art

Edgar Artis, an Armenian illustrator, has combined food and fashion to create some new and interesting art.

Using popcorn, chocolate, milk, fruits and other foods, Artis sketches and creates fashionable dresses. His art going above and beyond the usual kind of Instagram accounts that merge food and art together.

His art ranges from creating cocktail dresses using sliced strawberries and ball gowns using beets and he posts them all up on Instagram for the world to see.

He only started this account six months ago, but he’s already garnered more than 150 thousand followers. Artis uses more than food, though. He uses cutouts and holds them up against different views and buildings to create dresses and of late, he’s been using feathers to design the dresses as well.
