Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Wonka’s Whipple-scrumptious Fudgemellow Delight Recipe
Happy World Chocolate Day, foodies! In honor of this delicious day, we thought we’d unearth a recipe from one of our favorite works of fiction, which just happens to revolve around chocolate: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
In Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which is a book written by Roald Dahl as well as a popular movie, Charlie, a not very well off little boy with a loving family gets the chance to visit Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory by finding a golden ticket in a bar of chocolate. This factory is a magical place, filled with wonders like a chocolate waterfall, TV-portable chocolate and a roomful of squirrels harvesting nuts. Through the course of the story, all the other children who get to visit the factory fall victim to some kind of greed, leaving Charlie the winner of the ‘grand prize’; to inherit the Chocolate factory.
To celebrate world chocolate day, we’d suggest you curl up to watch this film along with a bowl of liquid chocolate waterfall, inspired by the waterfall in the film – here’s the recipe and a bowl of ice cream topped with wonka’s whipple scrumptious fudgemellow delight.
Wonka’s Whipple-scrumptious Fudgemellow Delight
This delicious sounding chocolate first makes its appearance as Charlie’s one and only birthday present:
“Charlie smiled nervously and sat down on the edge of the bed. He was holding his present, his only present, very carefully in his two hands. WONKA’S WHIPPLE-SCRUMPTIOUS FUDGEMALLOW DELIGHT, it said on the wrapper.”
Charlie hopes that he’ll be able to find a golden ticket in the chocolate which will allow him to visit Wonka’s factory. However, while there’s no golden ticket in his bar, Charlie gets to enjoy its deliciousness. Here’s how you can enjoy it too.
