Chef’s Basket Teams Up With Zomato For India’s First Hummus Festival

Chef’s Basket, which creates readymade meal boxes, has tied up with food discovery, ordering and booking portal Zomato to spearhead India’s first Hummus Festival.

The festival will see a range of top Mediterranean restaurants in Mumbai serving hummus based dishes using Chef’s Basket’s Hummus.

Hummus It Up!

Chef’s Basket produces hummus under ‘Fresh’, its sub-brand which sells a variety of freshly made dips and relishes with no preservatives or additives. Some hummus flavors under the Fresh brand are Garlic Hummus – with a lemony garlic infusion – Beetroot Hummus and Roasted Bell Pepper Hummus.

As a part of the festival, chefs at top restaurants like The Little Door Cafe, Cafe Terra, WTF, The Treesome Cafe, Global Chaos, Zoo Bar, Mockingbird Cafe,  and The Bar Terminal will create dishes featuring Chef’s Basket’s hummus.

The festival is aiming to celebrate both the savory and nutritional aspects of hummus. As well as enjoying the hummus based dishes, patrons at the festival will get a free sample of Chef’s’ s Basket hummus and a recipe book to recreate the dishes they’ve tried at home.
