Chick-Fil-A Brings Back It’s Original Barbecue Sauce

Chick-fil-A has made many a customer’s day by announcing that it is bringing back its original barbecue sauce to the menus. This comes a few months after the original sauce was swapped in favour of Smokehouse Barbecue Sauce in July.

The Barbeque Sauce Story

In July, Chick-fil-A rolled out its original barbecue sauce and rolled in the Smokehouse Barbecue Sauce. However, soon after, social media went berserk, with customers demanding that Chick-fil-A bring back their original sauce.

Internet users used hashtags like #BringBacktheBBQ and more than 2000 people signed a petition that demanded Chick-fil-A bring back the sauce.

The Sauce Is Back

And, Chick-fil-A has responded. “Change isn’t always easy. In fact, sometimes it can be downright difficult,” a release read. “When we introduced a new Smokehouse Barbeque Sauce in July, we thought we were serving up a bold new flavor you’d love. But your response was even bolder.”

The chain has also launched the hashtag #BroughtBacktheBBQ which they are asking social media users to use.

The sauce will be back in stores from November 7th.
