‘The Cool Mom’ Sridevi Is Here With Ching’s Snacky Oats

This winter, popular actress Sridevi is adding spunk to the Ching’s Secret portfolio with her charm. The English Vinglish star has been signed on as the face of Ching’s latest entrant in the snacking aisle – Snacky Oats.

 

Snacky Oats

As the name suggests, Snacky Oats, aim to provide a delicious and healthy snacking option, which can be whipped up in just a few minutes.

“Two years ago, research had thrown up an insight – mothers are looking for a better snacking product that children will enjoy, will be easy to make and will also be healthy. From that point onward we started researching alternative products to fulfil this ‘want’. Hence, we zeroed down to ‘Snacky Oats’,” informs Ajay Gupta, managing director, Capital Foods, adding, “Ching’s Snacky Oats are very tasty snacks that can be made in three to four minutes.”

Staying true to its Desi Chinese roots, this new product too will pack a similar flavour twist. The three flavours that will be available in the category are Schezwan, Manchow, and Singapore Curry.

 

The Campaign

As was the case with previous Ching’s ad films that were more of short films than ad campaigns, the Snacky Oats campaign too has been crafted in a similar manner with Sridevi taking center sage and showing off her classic moves. The actress is seen playing the role of the new age “cool mom”, who idea of snacking something tasty as well as nourishing. Watch the whole video advertisement below.

Wondering whether Ching’s has done away with the legendary Ranveer Ching? Well, fret not because the FMCG major revealed that the actor will be back as the notorious Ranveer Ching soon. “Ranveer is ‘Ranveer Ching’. He is an integral part of our brand journey. You will see him very soon,” says Gupta.
