CureFit Sets Foot In Delhi With INR 25 Crore Investment
Get ready to get fitter Delhi! Bangalore-based health technology start-up CureFit is looking to expand its reach to Delhi-NCR. With an investment of INR 25 crores, the company plans to set up 30 ‘Cult’ premium fitness centers along with meditation facilities and health kitchens by December 2018.
Fitness Expansion
“While there are a number of players in the fitness category, our aim is to help people adopt a healthy lifestyle. We have a holistic approach, it’s about the body, mind as well as what one eats. We have launched three products – Cult, Eat.fit and Mind.fit that address these areas,” co-founder Ankit Nagori said.
Mirroring the same model in Delhi, the company will set up five Cult centres this year and add 25 more by December. “We will also have five kitchens and five Mind.fit centres (for meditation) next year,” Nagori revealed adding that by that same time, CureFit also hopes to rope in 40,000 paying customers in Delhi and 60,000 in Bengaluru. “By 2018-end, we should have about one lakh paying customers,” he said.
Founded by Myntra co-founder Mukesh Bansal and former Flipkart executive Ankit Nagori in 2016, CureFit currently oversees 16 Cult fitness centers, four Eat.fit kitchens – these deliver food on a subscription model – and two meditation centres (Mind.fit) that cater to 25,000 customers in Bangalore.
CureFit prides itself with a star studded client roster with names like Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan and cricket KL Rahul on it. Gurgaon will get its “new wave of fitness” starting November 12.
