Falaknuma Palace Restaurant in Hyderabad makes it to Elite Traveler’s 100 Best Restaurants In The World

Elite Traveler has published its annual list of the Top 100 Restaurants in the World. We couldn’t help but notice that the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad has climbed 9 positions from last year to stand at number. 91 this year. 

The restaurant which is located within the Falaknuma Palace Hotel In Hyderabad is owned by the Taj Hotel group. The Head Chef there is Sajesh Nair who uses his 20 years of experience to create exquisite Indian dishes. 

The list was topped by Grant Achatz’s Alinea restaurant in Chicago which is their 5th win in a row. The restaurant is followed by Azurmendi and Eleven Madison Park respective. 

The list is compiled through a poll of Elite Traveller readers who are asked to ‘vote on their favourite restaurants, chefs, young chefs and which culinary maestro deserves the lifetime Elite Traveler achievement award.’

The Young Chef of The Year award went to Esben Holmboe Bang from the Maaemo restaurant in Norway. Chef of The Year was awarded to Gordon Ramsay.
