Ferrero Is Looking For 60 Amateur Food Tasters For A Dreamy Job In Italy

on

Looking for a job that comes with benefits like unlimited food, a dreamy location, and tens of reasons to binge on Nutella? Well, you might just be in luck because Italian chocolate manufacturer, Ferrero, is looking for 60 “sensory judges” to taste various ingredients, including different types of cocoa and hazelnut.

The Job

“We are searching for 60 sensory judges for tasting activities of confectionary products,” the advert, which has been published by Openjobmetis on behalf of Soremartec Italia srl, reads. The job asks for minimal requirements. The candidates must not be allergic to anything and they should know how to use a computer. Yep, that’s all. You don’t need to have a background in the food industry, just a willingness to taste Ferrero’s ingredients.

The selected candidates will start work from the 30th of September 2018. They will undergo a 3-month training course, during which they will polish their senses of taste and smell. When on duty, these sensory judges will be expected to use the correct terms when describing various tastes.

What’s more? The job requires the employee to report for work twice a week at the company headquarters in Alba, Piedmont in Italy. Essentially, it is the job of your dreams and if you think we’re making up this too good to be true offer, here’s the job ad.
