Harvest Gold Looks To Raise Upto $60 Million In Funding
Delhi based bakery, Harvest Gold is looking to raise $50-60 million in funding. To this end, it is in talks with private equity firms and strategic investors.
The Harvest Gold Brand
Harvest Gold began in 1993 and went on to dominate the NCR bread market with an over 70% market share.
Its products include White Bread, Hearty Brown, Multi Grain Bread, Bombay Pav, Kulcha and Burger Buns.
Looking For Investors
According to rumours, Harvest Gold is in talks with the Modern brand, which is owned by the Everstone backed Ninman Foods Private Ltd.
However, there has been no official comment about the rumours: Harvest Gold’s spokesperson said, “Investors are approaching Harvest Gold since last several years. But nothing has materialised yet.” Meanwhile, representatives at Everstone Capital refused to comment.
Nevertheless, sources in the know state that Harvest Gold is looking to raise at least $50 million in lieu of an equity stake.
