Hold Your Breath! Chef Gaggan Anand Is Coming To Chennai This Month!

“My name is Gaggan (probably the only Gaggan with 3G)”, that’s how Gaggan Anand likes to introduce himself. A prominent figure in the culinary world, he is known for his progressive Indian cuisine restaurant in Bangkok. Mr Anand is also a familiar face thanks to Chef’s Table on Netflix! Holding the first position in Asia’s 50 best restaurants for three consecutive years for his restaurant, Gaggan, Gaggan Anand is coming to India.

Growing up in India, Gaggan was more into music than he was into cooking. After working with Taj Hotels as a trainee, he came to Bangkok for a short consultancy, and like any other Indian, he never left. According to him, the internationally famous restaurant was the result of a drunken evening with his friends. Now, thanks to Taj Hotels, Gaggan Anand is coming to Chennai on 15th September.

Gaggan, known for his ability to twiddle with the Indian cuisine for a wider global audience, he will be creating a menu that features culinary delights that put the best of India in the spotlight.

The 12-course menu will represent the various regions of India bringing in exotic ingredients, striking flavour and of seasonal produce. The Gaggan culinary tour de force starts in Mumbai on 8 September, before moving to New Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai.
