Hood Food: The Mumbai Guide – The Best Eateries In Mahalaxmi

on

We’ve been exploring a lot of the best places to eat in the city in our Hood Food Guides and this week we’ve decided to focus on Mahalaxmi.

The area is perhaps best known for being the home of Mumbai’s famous racecourse that hosts the city’s high class for horse races every weekend. To cater to this crowd, it has a variety of high end restaurants. At the same time, it also has some casual eateries and famous street food joints if you’re on a shoe string budget. Here’s where you should visit:

Gallops

Gallops is a gem of a fine dining restaurant that has a view of the race course. It’s especially known for its kebabs.

Neel

Neel is another fine dining restaurant that serves amazing Indian fare. It also serves a pretty mean Sunday brunch.

Tote On The Turf
