Jay-Z Shelled Out Over $100,000 On Food & Wine With His Friends

We’ve said this before and we say this again: celebrities, they’re just like us. Only more popular and richer. The latter was just proven once again by American rapper Jay-Z and his squad, who shelled out a whopping $113,000 on wine and food in one night.

On Sunday, Jay-Z along with his friends was out celebrating the birthday of Juan “OG” Perez, president of JAY-Z’s Roc Nation Sports, with dinner at the popular Japanese restaurant Zuma in Manhattan. The group gorged on a meal of lobster, steak, and sushi. According to Page Six, the final tab added up to a colossal $13,000.

The party, which also included Perez’s wife Desiree, JAY-Z’s cousin Emory Jones, and Big Bo, one of the brand ambassadors for the star’s D’USSE Cognac, among others, then headed over to Made in Mexico, a Mexican restaurant and bar in Inwood where they reportedly spent another $9,000 on drinks.

But these two amounts are hardly extensive given the tab that the rapper and his friends rounded up at their next, and final, stop – Playroom Nightclub. Jay-Z and his friends must’ve nursed one big hangover the next day, for the group called for wines worth $80,000! According to the receipt, an image of which was shared by one of the staffers at Playroom, the party ordered 20 bottles of Jay-Z’s Ace Of Spades Rosé and 20 bottles of his Ace Of Spades Gold. What’s more, they also left a generous tip of 15 percent worth $11,100, taking up the grand total to $113,000! Though to be fair, most of it was spent on Jay-Z’s own brand.
