Maggi and Paytm Link Up To Create 4 New Masala Flavours, Sells Them Out In 2 Days

on

It has to be said that it’s no surprise that we were all heartbroken over the “small”matter of the excess amount of lead found in Maggi noodles (like come on is this the FBI or what?). We were also obviously over the moon to hear that we were allowed to consume our beloved staple. I mean, for a poor college student they were literally leaving us verdict which was tantamount to starvation.

Earlier this month, Nestle and Paytm launched an online contest where customers could search ‘Meri Maggi’ on Google and vote for their four most favorite flavors to be launched. In just one moment they made every student’s dream come true. Paytm Mall then sold the ‘boxes’ online with each box containing 12 packets of 73g each – Amritsari Achari, Mumbaiya Chatak, Super Chennai and Bengali Jhaal , 3 units of each flavor

Nestle’s latest Maggi Masalas of India has been launched in four flavours and customers can buy these exclusively on Paytm and Paytm Mall.

Unsurprisingly, Paytm Mall said it has already sold more than 150,000 packets of Maggi’s new flavour Masalas of India as customers rushed to the platform to buy the new variants of their favorite 2-minute instant noodles. Let’s bear in mind that the special masala flavours were only available to the public from the 22nd of this month. Good work Maggi!

Saurabh Vashistha, vice president of Paytm Mall said that they have sold out the first batch of 150,000 Maggi Masalas of India packets within just 2 days of launch. There has been a great amount of excitement around these unique flavors from one of India’s favorite brands and they have received a phenomenal response from customers across the country.

To be honest, I can’t imagine what other response they could have anticipated! Seriously, their product had lead (poison in my mind) in it and they still were able to make a comeback.
