Mars Is Making Protein Packed Candybars A Reality

Mars, the delightful brand that brought us Mars, Snickers, Bounty, and Milkyway has come out with a new line of candybars. Protein by Mars is a line of protein-packed candy bars that evidently taste like the real thing! However, they’ll have the added benefit of 18 to 19 grams of protein and come to just under 200 calories per serving, which is pretty on par with most other protein bars.

The Mars bar, which is traditionally chocolate and caramel, has a protein blend that’s made with milk, whey, and soy proteins. The Snickers bar uses a similar protein blend that’s mixed in with the classic peanuts and caramel coated in milk chocolate.

The bars also have a much lower sugar content with the Snickers bar packing about 9 grams of sugar per serving as compared to the 27 grams the regular bar has which means that this is definitely a better option to satisfy your cravings with.
