The New Starbucks Reserve Roastery In Chicago Is A Must Visit For Coffee Lovers
Starbucks is opening a four-storey coffee shop in Chicago by 2019. The brand new Starbucks Reserve Roastery will be surely appreciated by a Starbucks fan and is being called a coffee-lover’s Disneyland by Pop Sugar. The unique thing about this roastery is that it will be serving specialty craft coffees that aren’t available at a regular Starbucks.
The new roastery in Chicago and the third in the US will be built in a retail space in North Michigan Avenue. The first one opened in Seattle back in 2014 and the second one in New York will open next year.
According to a statement from Starbucks, the customers who visit the Chicago roastery can experience “fully sensorial coffee environment dedicated to roasting, brewing and packaging its rare, small-batch Starbucks Reserve coffees from around the world.” A coffee enthusiast who takes a great interest in their cuppa will love this place. “Tailored to the Chicago customer, the interactive four-story, 43,000-square-foot space will also be designed to bring coffee craft to life by offering multiple brewing methods, specialty Reserve beverages and mixology.”
“Having opened our first Starbucks store in Chicago nearly 30 years ago, our first outside of Seattle, this is a very special city for me. At the time, it was a true test for Starbucks because the Chicago customer is so savvy and discerning about their coffee,” explained Starbucks Executive Chairman and former CEO Howard Schultz to Pop Sugar.
