This Oktoberfest Head To BAR BAR For Great Deals On Beer, And Finger Licking Munchies!

When BAR BAR announced they were doing something special for Oktoberfest, we were stoked, and, of course, they didn’t fail to disappoint! From the amazing deals on beer (you can get 6 pints of KF, Tuborg, or Foster for only Rs. 499) to scrumptious bar bites created by maestro, Chef Paul Kinny, to leg tapping live music, BAR BAR has it all!

We started off with the Mozzarella Sticks (after ordering large steins of beer, of course) and by god they were delicious. Crisp, deep fried breading on the outside and glorious melted cheese on the inside. It’s a must try for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

We also had the Fish Tacos served with a generous helping of guacamole and batter fried basa. It is a hard shelled taco, so if you are a fan of soft tacos you may be disappointed. Carnivores, you must have the barbecue pork ribs, honestly it goes so well with the coleslaw and definitely leaves your tummy happy!

The lamb in the sliders was perfectly seasoned while the sharpness of the cheddar cuts through to ensure that all that beer you’ve drunk gets soaked up (so you can drink more, obviously).

One of my favorite parts of the meal (apart from all the beer) was the dessert. If you’ve got a bit of a sweet tooth (or like delicious things) then you have to try the Stout, Berry, and Chocolate Mousse Tart. It’s drizzled with caramel sauce which deepens the flavours of the tart. The crust isn’t too sweet and is easy to cut, while the stout in the mousse ensures that the chocolate isn’t overpowering.
