Product Review: Preethi Zodiac Mixer Grinder

They have just launched their latest appliance – Preethi Zodiac Mixer Grinder – which can chop, grate and slice in seconds as well as knead atta and juice fruit easily. We got the product in the HungryForever kitchen to give it a whirl and we can assure you that all the things the brand says it can do, is true.

It’s a five piece appliance with a jar with everything from making chutney to making juice. The Master Chef Jar gives you the freedom to do five things in one, and even includes separate blades for kneading atta. Long gone are the days when you were bent over your counter, putting work into kneading the atta into the perfect consistency, the Zodiac does that for you. You can change the blades depending on what you’d like to make – chopping, slicing or grating. And even better is the magical way to squeeze out citrus juice. The Citrus Press that can be added into the Master Chef jar is without a doubt one of the best things that the Zodiac does for anybody who loves to cook.

Making juice has never been this easy. With the spout attached to the jar, you can get the best of the juice that you’re making. And it’s not just about fresh fruit juices, you can use it to make coconut milk, tamarind essence and other elements that you’d need for your cooking purposes. Remove the spout and instantly it becomes a regular blender, which is perfect for making smoothies and milkshakes for the family.

The best part is, of course, the ability for the blades to grind turmeric or harder food like urud dal in less time than it would usually take you.
