Apple Dumplings Recipe
Apple dumplings is the perfect way to enjoy the goodness of the apples in a decadent way. The apples are stuffed inside biscuit dough and baked to bring out the unique flavours. The addition of the creamy butter sauce takes this dessert recipe up a notch.

Ingredients
- 1 500 grams can of refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
- 4 apples - peeled cored and halved)
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C
- Coat a 7x11 inch baking pan with butter
- Divide the biscuit into 8 equal pieces
- Shape and flatten the dough into a circle
- Place each apple half on top of the dough and wrap it
- Place the apple dough, seam side down, in the pan
- Combine sugar, water, melted butter and vanilla in a small bowl
- Pour this mixture on top of the dumplings
- Sprinkle some cinnamon on top of the dumplings
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the dumplings turn golden in color
- Serve hot with a scoop of ice-cream of your choice (optional)
