Ingredients
- 1 cup of all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of butter
- pinch of salt Salt
- `1 egg
- 3 apples peeled
- 3 tbsp of Soft White Butter
- 4 tbsp of sugar
- 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tbsp of nutmeg powder
- 1/2 tbsp of Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1` tbsp of sugar

Instructions
- Make a dough using 1 cup all-purpose flour, 50 gm of solid butter and a pinch of salt, and one egg. Add cold water as required
- Flatten the dough with a rolling pin and fold it. Repeat step two more times.
- Place this sheet of dough on a pie pan, scrape off the extras & refrigerate for a while.
- Cut 3 peeled apples into slices, marinate with 3 tbsp soft white butter, 4 tbsp sugar, ½ tsp cinnamon powder, ¼ tsp nutmeg powder and ½ tsp lemon juice.
- Layer the apple slices in the tart pan.
- Put small dollops of the butter and spice mixture on the apple. Sprinkle sugar and place in the oven at 175 degrees to slow cook the pie for 45-50 minutes.
- Remove and let it cool at room temperature for a while.
- Garnish with apple juliennes and fresh mint leaves. Sprinkle castor sugar on the top.
