Dear Zindagi Coconut Ladoos Recipe
Have you seen Dear Zindagi yet? If not, you definitely should; it’s a heart-warming coming of age film starring Alia Bhatt as Kaira, a young woman who works through her childhood issues with her therapist Dr Jehangir Khan, played by Shah Rukh Khan.
In the movie, food becomes symbolic in many scenes. At one point, Kaira ditches a fine dining date to enjoy some street side chow mein, while at another point she berates her mother for giving her coconut ladoos because they’re fattening. Towards the end of the film, however, she embraces her love for ladoos – and life.
Make your own coconut ladoos using this recipe; have them as a snack or a dessert.
