- 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter
- 12 ounces chopped bittersweet chocolate
- 3 tbsp sifted unsweetened cocoa powder
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 1/4 cups cake flour*

Instructions
- Begin by preheating the oven at 325°F and greasing a baking pan with butter.
- Line the pan with parchment paper and grease that as well.
- Mix together the butter, chocolate and cocoa powder in a double boiler and keep stirring till you get a smooth mixture.
- In another bowl whisk the eggs along with sugar and salt till the mixture becomes fluffy.
- Add one-third of this mixture to the chocolate mixture and stir well.
- Do the same twice and then sift in the flour in three batches while folding it in with the mixture.
- Pour the final batter in the baking pan and bake the brownies for about an hour and then transfer to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, remove the brownie slab from the wire rack onto a work surface and cut into equal square pieces.
