Full House Joey’s Chili Recipe
Chili con carne or better known as just chili is very popular in America and when Joey Gladstone makes it in Full House, well it’s not always a great success. So here’s a recipe that we’ve bettered so go ahead and try it and when you’re done, add it to some hot dogs and relish a delicious chili dog.

Ingredients
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 chopped green bellpepper
- 1 chopped yellow onion
- 2 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 cubes beef bouillon
- 2/3 cup red wine
- 16 ounces chopped tomatoes
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 1/2 tsps dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- crushed garlic cloves
- 12 ounce tomato paste
- 1 1/2 tsps paprika
- 2 1/2 tsps chili powder
- 12 drops Tabasco
- 1 can drained kidney beans
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3 tbsp Corn Meal
- 1/2 cup Water

Instructions
- Heat oil in a saucepan keeping the flame medium.
- Saute the green peppers and the onion till they soften.
- Add beef and continue cooking till the meat turns brown.
- Powder the bouillon cubes and add to the saucepan.
- Now pour the wine and stir.
- After cooking for a few more minutes add tomatoes, garlic, and tomato paste.
- Stir and add the seasonings: paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, basil, oregano, and parsley. Stir in salt and pepper.
- Give a good mix and bring the sauce to a boil on high flame.
- Once it starts to boil, turn the flame back to medium, cover and let the stew simmer for one and a half hour while stirring once in a while.
- Now add kidney beans and hot pepper sauce.
- Continue simmering the stew for half an hour.
- At this stage stir flour, corn meal, and water to a thick consistency in a bowl and add to the stew.
- Stir well, cook for another ten minutes or till the chili is thick enough to be served.
