In 'A Game of Thrones', in the Hand's tourney feast, attendees dine on "A thick soup of barley and venison; salads of sweetgrass and spinach and plums sprinkled with crushed nuts; snails in honey and garlic; sweetbreads and pigeon pie, baked apples fragrant with cinnamon, and lemon cakes frosted in sugar." Today, we're teaching you to make a delicious baked apple dessert, inspired by this feast.

- 4 large apples
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup peacans chopped
- 1/4 cup raisins chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup boiling water

Instructions
- Preheat an oven to 375F.
- Use an apple corer to cut out the cores of the apples while keeping the apples whole.
- Combine the sugar, cinnamon, pecans and raisins. Stuff the apples with this mixture.
- Place a smudge of butter on top of each of the stuffed apples.
- Boil water and pour this into a baking dish. Place the apples in the dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Take out off the oven, brush them with juices from the pan, serve and enjoy.
