Indo Chinese Food – Chicken Manchurian Recipe
Manchurian is a popular Indo-Chinese dish made by golden frying a vegetable or protein and corn flour mixture and then tossing it in a sauce with Chinese flavours.
This delicious non-vegetarian manchurian takes only a couple of minutes to make and tastes great as a snack or a starter! You can also serve it with fried rice as a main course.

Ingredients
- 250 grams Chicken mince
- 2 eggs roughly beaten
- 3/4 cup Refined Flour
- 1/2 tsp garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
- Oil for deep frying
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp garlic finely chopped
- 1/2 cup onions finely chopped
- 1 cup capsicum finely chopped
For the sauce
- 3 tbsp corn flour
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 cup tomato purée
- 2 tbsp celery chopped
- 2 cups

Instructions
- Combine the mince, eggs, flour, garlic, ginger and water to make a batter.
- Allow the mince to marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil for deep frying and drop small dollops of the batter into it.
- Fry until golden brown, remove with a slotted spoon and place the chicken balls on paper towels to drain.
- Whisk all the ingredients for the sauce together.
- Heat two tablespoons of oil and sauté the garlic and onion for a few minutes.
- Add the capsicum and continue sautéing for another minute.
- Spoon in the sauce and turn the heat on the stove down.
- Once the sauce begins to thicken, add the fried balls to the pan and toss.
- Remove from the stove after a few minutes and serve!
