Shrimp Pakora Recipe

Ingredients
- 10-15 shrimps
For Marinade
- ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp crushed pepper
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- Salt to taste
For Batter
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- 1 red chili
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 3 tbsp corn flour
- 2 tbsp chickpea flour besan
- ½ - 1 tsp red chili powder
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- ½ tsp Chat Masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying

Instructions
- Shell and devein the prawns and wash it thoroughly.
- Drain the water completely and pat it dry with kitchen paper.
- Marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, red chilly powder, salt, black pepper and lemon juice.
- Let it marinate for 30 mins.
- Slice onion and fresh coriander leaves to fine slices.
- Take them in a mixing bowl.
- Add ginger garlic paste and red chili flakes to it and mix well.
- Now add corn flour, chickpea flour, salt, red chilly powder, chat masala powder and pepper.
- Add little water and mix thoroughly to make a semi thick batter.
- Cover the marinated prawns nicely in the batter.
- Heat the oil in a wok or heavy based frying pan.
- Fry until golden brown all over. Flip over to other side, so that they get cooked evenly on both sides to crisp.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with tomato and mint chutney and some bubbly.
