- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- almonds for garnish

Instructions
- Brush some butter on the cake pan and line it with parchment.
- Now put the oven on preheat at 350˚F as you make the batter.
- For the batter stir the egg yolks and sugar.
- Beat them together till fluffy.
- To this add the flour and lemon zest stirring them in till well combined.
- Take the eggs whites in another bowl and beat them as well.
- Once you see peaks, begin adding this creamy mixture to the batter little by little incorporating it.
- Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake for half an hour or till done.
- Cool the cake a little before removing from the mould.
- Garnish with almonds and serve.
