Continuing the series of Afghani recipes from The Kite Runner here is yet another dish served at Amir’s wedding. These kebabs, if done well are succulent and delicious in taste and flavour.

Ingredients
- 450 grams lamb cubes
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp yoghurt
- 2 tsps olive oil
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tsp chopped fresh coriander
- 2 tsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 chunky-cut capsicum
- 1 quartered onion pieces separated
- 1 chunky-cut tomato

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, take all the ingredients except the meat and vegetables and mix well.
- Dip the meat in the marinade covering it completely and let it soak in it for two hours or if you have time, then overnight.
- Heat up your grill to medium high and put the meat and vegetables on skewers.
- Grill the kebabs for about 8-10 minutes or till done.
- Serve hot.
