Instructions
  1. Take a bowl of water and add the rice and poppy seeds and let it soak for about half an hour.
  2. In a vessel, add the milk and boil till it froths up. Once it does, switch off flame and keep it aside for cooling.
  3. Take a mixie or blender and add the grated coconut.
  4. Also add the soaked poppy seeds and rice with the water.
  5. Additionally add 1 more tumbler of water.
  6. Blend well until fine.
  7. Place a heavy bottomed pan or vessel on medium flame on a stove.
  8. Now, add the blended mixture.
  9. Add the mashed jaggery
  10. Boil for 10 minutes.
  11. Switch off the flame.
  12. Add cardamom powder
  13. Add milk and mix well
