Ingredients
- 8 Mackerels
- 1 Coconut
- 15 Red chilies
- 1/2 tbsp of turmeric
- 10 gm of Tamarind
- 1 onions
- 3 green chili
- Add salt to taste

Instructions
- Roast the raw mackerels on fire or live coal until it’s cooked. This can also be done by using a fry pan with a teaspoon of oil added.
- De-bone the fish
- Grind coconut, red chilies, turmeric and tamarind to a fine paste in a wet grinder.
- In a kadai add a teaspoon of oil, add the chopped onions, when golden brown add slit green chilies, then add the ground paste and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add the de boned mackerel pieces and mix gently. Add salt and cook for another 5 minutes
