Serena Williams Had A Fairy Tale Wedding, Here’s What Was On The Menu

on

Ace tennis player and sports goddess Serena Williams recently got hitched to Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian. And it is safe to say that it was a wedding that every girl has dreamed of at least once. And while we are a subtle hue of green with envy, our heart is bursting with joy for the couple, and deep down we’re this guy.

TBH, we’re still crying.

Dreamy & Flawless

The starry wedding, which hosted over 200 guests, was covered by Vogue and the magazine revealed that the bride walked down the aisle in a stunning white USD 3.5 million (INR 227 million) ensemble by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen princess gown and cape, holding by a bouquet of white roses and sparkling with jewelry by XIV Karats.

Meanwhile, the groom looked a million bucks in his Armani suit and the tiny bridesmaid (a.k.a. Williams’ daughter Alexis Olympia Jr.) totally rocked her gorgeous ivory frock.

Based on a ‘Beauty and the Beast’ theme, the fairytale wedding was made all the more flawless with the tear-jerking vows by the couple and a bright lit all-white carousel revealed by the groom as an end of party surprise. Yes, it was dreamy in every sense of the word.

Most Important Of All

Dress, tux, flowers, carousel, and guest list are all fine, but here’s the main question: what did the guests eat? Well, we’re as food-minded as you are and lucky for us, details about the Williams-Ohanian wedding menu are out. Here’s what was on it.

With Alexis’ heritage in mind, the spread carried a mix of Armenian and Southern foods. Guests dined on an around-the-world-themed dinner cooked up by Creative Edge Parties. Furthermore, there was also a selection of Italian food on offer, along with a steak house stations and a salad wall.

But that’s not all. While the food spelled out ‘Alexis’, the seating arrangement screamed ‘Williams’. The guests were seated at four long tables that were named after the Tennis pro’s Grand Slam victories.

Now, I may not be a four-time grand slam winner, but I want my wedding food to be an ode to my achievements as well!
