Spice Up Your Bath With Ramen Scented Bath Powders
Ramen is arguably one of Japan’s most popular foods. In fact, it could be one of the world’s most popular foods – it’s even a more valuable currency in prison than cigarettes. So, it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that a Japanese novelty gift shop is selling ramen scented bath powders.
All right, it is a bit bizarre.
Take A Bath In Ramen Soup
The bath powders are sold in what look like packets of seasoning and – as well as ramen -come in miso, curry, gyudon and jigaeo ‘flavors’.
The shop warns customers that bathing in the scented baths may bring on extreme feelings of hunger, so it’s advisable that you have a big pot of ramen brewing while you bathe.
Of course, the Japanese are no strangers to bathing in what’s typically considered a food item. Ramen noodles and pork broth baths and spas have been popular for ages. Supposedly, there are ingredients in the broth which helps tighten skin and therefore make one more beautiful.
While we don’t know whether these scented bath powders will yield the same results it’s certainly worth a try from the novelty angle.
