Ingredients
- 1 cup dried chickpeas
- 2 tsp whole mustard seeds
- 7-8 fresh curry leaves
- 3-4 Dry Red Chillies
- 3 tbsp finely grated coconut unsweetened
- water to cook the chick peas
- Salt oil to grease
- Chopped coriander to garnish.

Instructions
- Soak the peas, in enough water and a pinch of salt, overnight.
- Cook the peas in a pressure cooker until just done.
- Drain and set aside.
- In a shallow pan, heat oil.
- When hot, add the mustard seeds and wait for them to pop.
- Add the curry leaves and chillies.
- As they start to crisp, add the cooked beans and a pinch of salt.
- Toss and cook on low flame for a couple of minutes.
- Sprinkle the grated coconut and cook for a few minutes.
- Serve hot.
