Swiggy Begins Services In Vizag And Indore

The CEO of Swiggy, Sriharsha had come down to Vishakhapatnam last month to collect the ‘Startup of the Year’ award given to them by StartAP awards. While there, he had promised the citizens of Vizag that the services would soon be launched in city and looks like the promise has been fulfilled. According to the report by Medianama, Swiggy has now extended its services to Vizag as well as Indore.

Swiggy Expands Services In India

“We plan to launch our services soon in Vizag and look forward to be a part of the flourishing culinary culture in the city. By partnering with various restaurants and creating robust employment opportunities for delivery partners, we hope to make a contribution in boosting the local economy,” Sriharsha has said during the ceremony last month.

After coming down to Indore and Vishakhapatnam, Swiggy has now spread over 18 cities in India, the others being Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, and Pune. Medianama also reports that 450 restaurants are already listed on the Swiggy app for the two new cities.
