Thanks To PepsiCo Doritos Now “Made In India”

You have got to be lying if you say that you don’t enjoy Doritos. Honestly, I can’t think of anyone off the top of my head who doesn’t like nachos (although, they must exist, heathens). Lucky for us, PepsiCo is making our favourite snack all the more enticing by following the ‘make in India model’.

That’s right! Doritos are now being manufactured in India, specifically Kolkata. They are even sourcing the corn locally which is in line with PepsiCo’s ‘source in India’ commitment.

According to PepsiCo’s Vice President of Operations, Niteen Pradhan their goal is to “develop local ecosystems and produce locally.”

PepsiCo plans on marketing Doritos on a wide spread of platforms such as retail chains, online channels as well as your lock mom and pop store. Not surprisingly, it is one of the billion-dollar brands in Pepsi’s portfolio as well as one of its fastest growing snacks. I mean, obviously, have you had them – they’re delicious!
