But never has the heat stopped us from going out and chilling (oh, the irony) even if the mercury is rising and threatens to break out from the thermometer. Because, food. This restaurant is a part of Delhi’s much-loved Crafts Museum. With an eclectic and innovative menu, Café Lota offers dishes like mushroom khichdi, sabudana popcorn and mushroom uttapam and some regional classics like the Kerala chicken stew, Konkan fish curry and dal ka chilla.

The Habitat Centre is also loved for it’s restaurant The All American Diner that serves typical diner food. This place also houses the fine dining restaurant Delhi ‘O’ Delhi but sadly, this one is accessible to members only. But the diner and food court are worth trying out and if you’re lucky enough, you might just come across a good exhibition.

With items like vegetable pot pie, pita pockets, giant choco chip cookie and a selection of sweet somethings, this is the perfect place to chill with yourself on a hot summer afternoon. It’s one of those places where even non-vegetarians would willingly go despite having knowledge that it’s a pure vegetarian café. Enough said.

With an amazing view – like every restaurant in Hauz Khas ever – this multi levelled restaurant everything you could have wished for! The menu is made of preparations like the DIY Foot Long Bruschetta, Fish Taco and an amazing assortment of cocktails. Visit this place to fall in love with Delhi, the foodie way.
