Disney World is Getting 5 New Dining Concepts! Chef to the Stars Wolfgang Puck also Joins in
Most of us dream of going to Disney World at least once in our lifetime. The Magical Kingdom is one of the most visited tourist spots in the world! The charm of the theme park is timeless and no matter how old you are , you will be swept away in the magic. Part of the wonders at the theme parks is the unique food and dining experiences on offer. 5 new dining concepts have been announced at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
The restaurants are set to open by late 2017- early 2018 at the Disney Springs, the park’s outdoor shopping, retail, entertaining and dining complex.
Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill
A new concept from celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck will open in the Town Center at Disney Springs in 2018. The Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill will “modernize the traditional bar and grill concept” in a location designed by Tony Chi. The menu will highlight many of Puck’s signature dishes along with handcrafted specialty cocktails, beer, and wine.
Jaleo
Jaleo by Chef Jose Andres will feature an extensive menu of tapas that reflect the rich regional diversity of traditional and contemporary Spanish cuisine, such as paella cooked over a wood fire, hand-carved Jamon Iberico de Bellota, and wood-grilled Iberico pork.”
Wine Bar George
This opens in late 2017 and is themed to be a casual dining experience with fine wines handpicked by Master Sommelier George Miliotes. More than a hundred selections of wine by bottle and glass. It cannot get better than this!
The Edison
This restaurant is also slated to open in late 2017 and “Industrial gothic” is the theme designed for it. This 1920’s era restaurant and bar will have contortionists, aerialists and DJs. Disney world can barely contain their excitement in letting everyone known what a fantastic place this is going to be.
An yet un-named Italian restaurant concept by ames Beard award-winner and Top Chef Master Tony Mantuano, who also was the master chef of Portobello restaurant at the park, which has been closed to make way for the new concept. The menu will feature “dishes inspired by Chef Tony’s adventures across the many regions of Italy.”
