Kheema Curry Recipe
Keema, or kheema is both a popular street food (served with pav buns) and a mealtime dish in Indian households. The texture of mincemeat combines beautifully with cubes of potatoes in this recipe.

    Ingredients
    
                - 2 medium onions chopped
 - 450 grams ground beef or chicken
 - 1 tsp gingerroot minced
 - 1 tsp garlic minced
 - 1 tsp chili powder
 - 1 tsp coriander powder
 - 1 tsp Turmeric powder
 - 1 tsp Salt
 - 2 tbsp yogurt
 - 3 tomatoes chopped
 - 300 grams potatoes peeled and diced
 - 1 tsp garam masala
 - 2 green chillies chopped
 - 3 tbsp coriander leaves chopped

    Instructions
    
                - Fry the onions in a little hot oil.
 - When the onions begin to soften, stir in the mincemeat, garlic and ginger.
 - Sauté for 5 minutes.
 - Add all the spice powders and the garam masala and mix well.
 - Add three tablespoons of water and allow the picture to cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
 - Add the tomatoes and yogurt.
 - Mix well and allow the curry to cook over medium heat for ten minutes.
 - Stir the mixture as it cooks.
 - After ten minutes, add the potatoes.
 - Pour in a cup of water and mix well.
 - Cover the curry and cook it for half an hour over a low flame.
 - After 30 minutes, stir in the chillies and coriander leaves and then serve.
