Coca-Cola Plans To Help Franchise Bottlers Enter The World Of Online Transactions
Following the demonetisation announcement in early November in India, there has been an increased interest in online payment and digital transactions. Most recently, beverage manufacturer Coca Cola has announced that it will be setting up a new function – Franchise Capability and Business Transformations – which will help facilitate franchise bottlers to sell Coca-Cola products online.

Coca-Cola already has a website which allows customers to order Coca-Cola products from online; Coke2Home.com. It offers customers in specific cities the option to order Coca-Cola beverages directly to their home. Additionally, it offers special offers and discounts to encourage customers to order online.
Coke2Home currently operates in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Ghandi Nagar, Hyderabad, Noida and Pune. It delivers a range of Coca Cola Beverages including Minute Maid variants, Coca-Cola, Fuze T Tea, Thums Up and Sprite.
Helping Franchise Bottlers To Sell Online
Coca Cola owns 65 bottling plants on India and has a further 35 plants which are franchise owned. The Franchise Capability & Business Transformation will help franchise partners facilitate online transactions. It will be headed by Sameer Wadhwan.
Wadhwan will work with Coca-Cola’s franchise bottling partners in India and South West Asia to help work out logistics and other factors involved in digital selling.
