Man From Germany Carries Beer Like A Piece Of Cake, Breaks Record

Oliver Strümpfel broke his previous record of carrying 25 steins filled with beer by carrying 29 of them on Sunday. The event took place at the Gillamoos fair in the Bavarian town of Abensberg where he carried the beer steins to 40 meters distance.

The weight of 29 steins come up to 70 kilograms and yet Strümpfel made another attempt with 31 steins but he dropped one of them and spilled 10 percent of the beer from another. So his record stands at 29 steins.

“I have been training since February three or four times a week in the gym, and that is awesome when I think that is 200 hours all for the 40 seconds I just ran,” Strümpfel told DW. He in fact wants to break his record again next year. “I know that I can carry more than 30 steins,” he said.
