Ingredients
- 2 Boneless chicken breast cut into pieces
- 2 Dried red chillies broken
- 2 tablespoon garlic finely chopped
- 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
- 1½ tablespoon tamarind pulp
- 1½ tablespoon sugar
- 1 Juice of lemon
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
- 5 tablespoon Oil
- Salt to taste
- 2 inch Ginger
- Green capsicum strips for garnis
- Red capsicum strips for garnis
- Spring onion green strips for garnis

Instructions
- Put dried red chillies, garlic, green chillies, tamarind pulp, sugar, lemon juice, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder and 4 tbsps oil in a bowl. Add salt.
- Slice ginger, add to the bowl and mix well. Add chicken pieces and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 20 minutes.
- Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan, place marinated chicken pieces alongwith the marinade and cook, stirring a few times, till the chicken turns golden and crisp from all sides.
- Transfer the barbequed chicken onto a serving plate, garnish with green and red capsicum strips and spring onion greens strips and serve hot.
