Saint MSG Tries His Hands (& Facial Hair) At Advertising

If you type ‘msg’ in Google’s search bar, the search engine obediently pulls out all there is you should know about Monosodium Glutamate, the harmful chemical found naturally in a lot of fruits and vegetable and unnaturally in our instant noodles. Well, Dera Sacha Sauda Chief aka Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh wants to flip the bad to the good by romanticizing ‘msg’ with something more healthy. More “organic and swadeshi”, actually.

Enter MSG, the self-proclaimed flag bearer of 100% organic food that will not be the kerosene to your body (you’ll know what I mean soon). The Dera Chief has claimed that his products are free of any harmful pesticide juju and that we are better off giving our pantry an MSG makeover. And just in case his viral item numbers and blockbusters weren’t reason enough to put all your trust in the man, watch this ad. Go ahead, and find out how to stop feeding yourself poison.
