Swiggy To Expand Its Delivery-Only Kitchens Across Four Cities In India
Popular food delivery company, Swiggy has announced the expansion of its delivery-only kitchens, Swiggy Access in four Indian cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata reports the Economic Times. With this expansion the company will be able to give its restaurant partners a chance to expand without big investments.
Expanding Range Of Food Delivery
Through Swiggy Access, existing restaurant will be given a ready kitchen without bothering about rents and deposits according to Swiggy. “We believe that delivery-only kitchens will be the future of the restaurant industry. Swiggy Access will enable this transition by rapidly expanding to more areas in tier I and tier II cities and working with hundreds of restaurants,” Swiggy New Supply CEO Vishal Bhatia told the Economic Times.
Not only this, the new service, Swiggy Access will also help restaurants to expand inter-city. One example is a restaurant in Bengaluru, Vasudev Adigas which can be accessed by consumers in Delhi. “Our partnership with Swiggy Access has been a phenomenal success in Bangalore. We’re really excited about expanding with them through Access kitchens in other cities,” Vasudev Adigas COO Biju Thomas told the Economic Times.
