Vikas Khanna Turns Children’s Author With ‘A Tree Named Ganga’

on

Popular Michelin-starred chef, restaurateur, and author Vikas Khanna has had quite a few remarkable accolades to his name in the past few years including several cookbooks and a documentary, Buried Seeds, which was even showcased at the Cannes Film Festival. However, it seems like the masterchef won’t stop until he’s done it all. Khanna’s next big release is going to be a children’s book christened A Tree Named Ganga.

The chef took to Facebook and Twitter to share with his followers the cover art of his upcoming book, which will be authored by Khanna and illustrated by Loki Muthu.

According to its publisher, the book is the story of a tree’s journey through life. As a seed, Ganga received a lot of love and support, and grew up to be a “majestic tree”. However, due to her arrogance and pride, she loses all her friends. The 45-year-old chef’s story shines the spotlight on how a living being’s life journey is ultimately about learning humility and gaining wisdom. Complete with an important life lesson and a relatable character, the book will surely leave a lasting impression on young minds.

Published by Bloomsbury, A Tree Named Ganga will be Vikas Khanna’s 28th literary work and will be released on 10th November 2017.
