Watch an Artsy video on how beer cans are made that will make your jaw drop
You never think about the aluminium beer can that you just chugged your beer out of. But there is actually a process behind it. Right, we know what you’re thinking, how interesting can making a beer can be? But we promise you, you will see them in a whole new light after this mesmerising video.
We have Garage Project – a microbrewery in Wellington, New Zealand – to thank for this imaginative video that is set to classical music. It shows the entire process behind the company’s Hops on Pointe champagne pilsner, brewed especially for the Royal New Zealand Ballet. According to the company website, Hops on Pointe is “a pale gold lager with a crisp, clean palate” with “rich tropical fruit aromas and tight champagne bubbles” – in other words, a party in a can.
