Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort By Marriott International To Open This October
According to a report by the F&B News, The Westin Hotels & Resorts which is a chain of Marriott International is going to open a resort in the Republic of Maldives. The new resort is going to be open to public by this October and will be known as Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.
Marriott International Comes To Maldives
Further report says that the resort will be on a coral island called Baa Atoll and that it has been developed by Belluna Co Ltd, Japan, and Asia Capital PLC, Sri Lanka. Baa Atoll is a designated UNESCO Biosphere Reserve site which makes the resort ideal for an exotic vacation.
As for the dining, the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort will have three restaurants – Island Kitchen, The Pearl and Hawker reports F&B News. Island Kitchen will cater for diners looking for an all-day experience with a menu specializing in Chinese, Indian and Maldivian cuisines. On the other hand The Pearl will give its customers a lovely Japanese fare with ocean views and those looking for some authentic Asian food can head to Hawker that is restaurant and bar with a live kitchen.
The resort will also have a rooftop lounge called The Sunset Bar. This lounge will specialize in tapas along with imaginative cocktails.
